Firstly: Who the f*ck is this guy?

WHO IS THE IDIOT WITH ZERO ARTISTIC MORALS WHO GREEN-LIGHTS MOVIES IN HOLLYWOOD??

Case in point:

Whoever said “Hey! This is a GREAT idea for a movie!” needs to be slapped in the face with a fish. Seriously, read the name of that movie: “CATS & DOGS: THE REVENGE OF KITTY GALORE”. Now look at the fact that there is a dog and a cat … flying? Now go ahead and vomit. Now clean up that mess. Now vomit again.

Now look at the second travesty in Hollywood of Summer ’10:

When I saw this on a billboard I almost fucking crashed into a bus … on purpose. How can I live in a world where shit like this exists? Now, granted, not every movie can be The Dark Knight or Scarface but, seriously, WTF? When I was a kid they made movies like the Goonies or The Sandlot or Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, not this shit nanny garbage with flying pigs and 50 kids in a sidecar.

Fuck.

So this blog post is less of an update and more of a plea. Dearest Hollywood: Let’s get smart and make it so I don’t want to kill myself looking at the horse shit that you are planning on boring our youth with, and let’s make a real movie:

How’s everybody’s Summer been?

Man, I can truly say that over here in sunny Los Angeles things have been AMAZING! The weather basically never leaves the 70’s unless you live in the Valley, to which I’d like to formally say ‘haha’, for those of you who don’t know what the valley is let’s take a tour.

It’s always sunny and Katy Perry is giving out free blowjays at the neighborhood Starbucks! LA Rules!

But let’s be real: this Summer is especially amazing because Reckless Tortuga is hard at work writing new skits and filming new material that will make your ass fall right off. What that means for you, Mr and Ms impatient spectator is more ONLINE GAMER!! Holler!

I know what you are thinking: “Man, I thought Summer of ten was amazing enough with ONLINE GAMER 5 and internet hero Steven Slater’s escapade that is already in “Taiwanese CGI” – but guess what, bitches: Onlne Gamer 6 is coming out and I got to be there while they were filming it!

This is the official launch of the new revamped Reckless Tortuga blog. Expect many exciting and informative posts about the world of RT and things that are deemed ‘blog-worthy’ like that Double Rainbow Guy or that other guy that remixed the Double Rainbow Guy or the guy that remixed that. You know, cool internet things.

But what does that mean for you? Well, go ahead and read the following FAQs for additional information:

1. Wait, is the RT blogger Eric/Lindsay/Rachel Miner/Jason/that one foreign guy from that one skit does that funny voice?

A: No. Well, maybe. I imagine the blog will have contributions from every member of the team, but mostly it is from one unemployed loser friend with nothing to do but slave over a hot computer just for his “love of the cause”.

2. Can you talk about the next Online Gamer?

A: Well, I imagine we will talk about future shoots and maybe even post teaser photos for all you bastards to write snarky comments about.

3. Online Gamer rules!

A: Yes, thanks. We are very proud of it.

4. I loved it when the Online Gamer was on the dance floor and he was shooting people.

A: Yes, that was very funny. Is there a question here?

5. Noob. My blog has far more hits than yours. I bet you’re not even using SEO Shockwave 3000.5.01 yet! Noob!

A: Well, this blog is not really about getting hits or ad revenue or whatever the fuck. It’s a place for fans to read updates and post comments pointing out grammatical errors that I make,

6. Can I post ideas for future skits for you in the comments section?

A: Yes, of course, if you like wasting however much time it takes for you to type it out. We here at Reckless Tortuga have a policy which is: “Your idea sucks, that’s why we are making funny videos and you aren’t.” (Not Reckless Tortuga’s real policy, just the blogger’s.) But please, post a comment about that funny incident that happened at work that HAS TO MADE INTO A VIDEO!!! OHMYGOD IT’S SO FUNNY!!! LOL!!!

7. Are you going to do that annoying thing in blogs where they put a hot link in one of the words of the blog post?

A: Probably.

8. Why do you use that font? Why not this font? Or that other font?

A: Seriously, STFU about ‘font’. Who cares if it doesn’t match your exact aesthetic preferences. Just read the words and get over it. Times New Roman or Helvetica or whatever: as long as the words aren’t in Wingdings, who gives?
