Reckless Tortuga

(A Sketch Comedy Adventure)
Translation? Reckless: Utterly unconcerned about the consequences. Torutga: Turtle. Put it all together and what does that mean? Awesomeness. RT was formed when Lindsey Reckis, Jason Schnell & Eric Pumphrey decided to see what would happen if their powers combined. They started writing, producing and filming sketch-comedy shorts. After uploading only a few of them to YouTube, they started to become a viral sensation. The combination of their dirty minds, obvious talent and instant popularity drew in other talented friends to be apart of the magic.

Lindsey Reckis

(Actor/Writer/Producer)
Lindsey came out to Los Angeles as an actress and model, but don't ask her about modeling, she hated it she said she was too tall. (I was too tall, get over it, there is such a thing.) Lindsey's childhood dream was to be a professional video game player, but her parents told her to have a back up plan, which she has now fallen back on... becoming an actress/writer (mom and dad are thrilled). When Lindsey is not auditioning or writing and producing sketches for Reckless Tortuga, she's terrorizing her fiance Jason. Check out her Website

Eric Pumphrey

(Actor/Writer/Producer)
Eric Pumphrey lives in Los Angeles and has been acting for many years. After being constantly rejected for roles such as "Thug #2", "DeAndre" and "Crack Head", he decided to start writing and producing. Eric now obsessively works with Lindsey and Jason to create hilarious content for Reckless Tortuga. Although Eric did recently play the role of "Perp" on TNT's Southland, he looks forward to the day when he will be able to audition for roles that are not degenerates, drug addicts or characters named Treshaun.

Jason Schnell

(Director/Producer/Cinematographer/Editor)
Jason Schnell was born in New York. He likes to remind everyone of that even though he only lived there until he was 3. He grew up in Los Angeles and decided early on to be a filmmaker. He has worked professionally as Director, Producer, Editor, and Cinematographer on many projects that only his Mom saw. Jason's life long dream came true when he got a short into the Sundance Film Festival. Since then he thinks he knows everything and spends his time making Reckless Tortuga content hoping that one day he can return to Park City.

Tommy Savas

(Actor)
Tommy Savas was born on December 20, 1984 in West Harlem, NY. He was raised in nearby Northern New Jersey. His big break came at age 15 when he was selected out of 15,000 actors to play the role of Xavier, AJ Soprano's high school friend in the renowned HBO series, The Sopranos. After The Sopranos, Tommy landed a guest starring role in Law and Order SVU, as well as a part in the Tribeca Film Festival award winning film, Roger Dodger. After graduating from high school, Tommy moved out to Los Angeles to pursue his already burgeoning career.

Rachel Miner

(Actor/Writer/Producer)
Rachel was classically trained in prancing and giggling at the prestigious, Nereus Academy of the Water Nymph. Despite this honor, she claims her biggest inspiration came from the years she spent as a field mouse after an unfortunate encounter with an evil enchantress...And yes she has done some work as an actress too, as noted by some Tortuga viewers she was in "Bully", "Californication" and recently "Supernatural" among other things. Her credits are listed quite accurately on IMDB.com. She is also not very adept at writing bios, but loves making sketches with her very talented friends.

Lynsey Bartilson

On television, Lynsey Bartilson starred in the hit comedy, 'Grounded for Life' as Lily Finnerty, a teenager cursed with terrible parents. At 13, Lynsey starred opposite Angela Lansbury in the CBS holiday musical, 'Mrs. Santa Claus', and did the lead voice for the children's film, 'Rat's Tale'. Additional TV credits include guest-starring roles on 'NCIS', 'Judging Amy', 'NYPD Blue', 'Strong Medicine', 'Party of Five', 'Early Edition', 'That 70's Show', 'Chicken Soup for the Soul', 'Seventh Heaven', 'Suddenly Susan', and 'Married. . . With Children'.

Jared Bell

(Actor)
Jared was born and raised in a small fishing village just outside tokyo. Ever since he was 5 he would perform funny skits for all the towns people. Jared decided to get into showbiz because of his grandfather who was the original Bozo the clown. When he moved to LA he was just another lost soul until he met the Reckless Tortuga gang. And it's been a beautiful collaboration and friendship ever since. You may also recognize Jared from such top ten TV shows such as Entourage or Ugly Betty to name a few.

Hal Ozsan

You've seen Hal Ozsan all over your TV for a decade. His big break came as brash director "Todd Carr" on Dawson's Creek and since then he's been a regular or recurring character on a gazillion shows from Californication to Kyle XY. Currently he can be seen regularly as Miles Canon on The CW's 90210. Hal's dazzling good looks, razor sharp acting chops and roguish cockney accent are matched only in their awesomeness by the size of his gargantuan ego. Just kidding... he's actually a really nice guy... and his ego is totally justified... He made me say that last thing.

Davan Breithinn O'Firinn

The Biography, or Why He Is Awesome; His moral fiber would make the most constipated regular. He's a good listener, if you would just shut-up. He's celibate by choice (not his own). He turned his new Lap Top into a Lap Bottom and it broke. He's not a curious person, besides, a cat died that way. He has more talent in his little penis then most can dream of. Some people call him friend, some people call him bitch-tits, some people call him.

Micah James

Micah James started his career in 1991 as an acting coach for Damon Wayans. His dynamic presence and incomparable 'easy-on-the-eyeness' make him a not only a joy to be around, but a magnet for panties. He is not funny, per se--he merely lives inside "the bubble", making it virtually impossible for anyone to not laugh at anything he says or does. Micah James does not like pickles...but he LOVES you. Clark Huff

Clark Huff was born and raised in Los Angeles. After high-school he slept his way through film-school, dropped out and now hopes to ride the coat tails of Reckless Tortuga to some kind of better life.He says he likes everyone on the team but he's a big pussy and can't say that the tall blonde bitch is the Devil, the director is the biggest dick in the world and Eric is the angriest person he knows.



Callan Stokes

(Wardrobe)
Canadian native, Callan, not only is fabulous at wardrobe & costumes, she also is very attractive. After years of traveling, her carefree attitude lead her to Los Angeles. Callan's greatest joy is styling & costume design. After being in LA for a short while, she became an in demand stylist for celebrities, directors & photographers. Joy Somers' TV credits include Reno 911!, A-Z (pilot for Discovery Channel) and Pilot Season The Comeback Kid. She has been in over a dozen independent feature films including ID, Boston Girls, Hookers Inc, Half Life and Tales from Beyond. She has appeared in many tv commercials including Mc Donalds, Geico, Macaroni Grill, American Idol and East Bank to name a few. She has also made her presence known in the LA Theater community. Lucius Baybak grew up in the surrounding hills of Los Angeles skating (roller blading mostly)the mean streets and getting into trouble. His acting career blossomed toward the end of high school when he was cast in a DisneyWorld promotional video. Since then he has been on such TV shows as House, Monk and Without A Trace. Not only does he enjoy creating funny characters but he also like to creep the poop out of people. Luke rides a scooter and is an expert in many dialects.

Duffy Dibley

Romina Bovolini is a Muy Picante Latina, originally from glamourous Buenos Aires. Romina grew up in Huntington Beach, CA, and moved to Los Angeles in her early twenties. She has been a professional actress for several years and her credits include numerous independent films and theatrical productions. Most recently she appeared on TNT's Hawthorne with Jada Pinkett-Smith. Her performance was not universally lauded as 'spicy' for fear of retaliation. But everybody thought it, quietly, using their inside voices.
